In Ghana, an estimated 45% of food is lost or wasted each year, much of it at the postharvest stage — impacting farmer incomes, food security, and the environment. ![]()
Since 2022, Food For All Africa’s Agricultural Food Loss Recovery Program has been recovering surplus farm produce and redirecting it to vulnerable communities.
As a member of The Global FoodBanking Network’s Agricultural Recovery Hub, we are gaining the training, technical expertise, and strategic support needed to scale on-farm recovery systems and strengthen partnerships across the value chain.
Our vision is clear: recover 10 million kilograms of surplus food by 2030 — turning food loss into food security and climate action.
We invite partners across Ghana to join us in building a more resilient and inclusive food system.
