providing the basic need for every human being - FOOD

Food for All Africa UK, was founded in February 2021 in response to the growing need for a more sustainable approach to address widespread hunger, food waste and poverty within communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Together We Can End Hunger

The consequence of one of the deadliest global pandemics in modern history in 2019, COVID, exacerbated an already depraved situation of hunger and food scarcity for families living in poverty.

Working with Food for All Africa Ghana, the organization was created to have an interdependent relationship and promote the concept of food banking by mobilizing resources to empower food banks in Ghana and across Africa in providing the basic need for every human being: “FOOD”.

Food for All Africa UK is registered in United Kingdom with charity number 1210757

The Vision

To become the biggest fundraiser in Europe for food security and food banking in Sub Saharan Africa.

In the UK, the organization operates the same way by working within minority communities who are disproportionately affected by hunger and food insecurity. Research highlights that “24% of people from ethnic minority groups in the UK experience food insecurity” and these people might also be less inclined to visit a “traditional” food bank. By working within the community, Food for All Africa UK builds a sense of trust that enables people to access the support they need.
